Los Angeles, CA — In a move that adds depth and familiarity to the offensive line, the Los Angeles Rams have officially brought back interior lineman Coleman Shelton, and head coach Sean McVay is standing firmly behind the decision.
Speaking to the media during training camp activities, McVay emphasized the strategic importance of Shelton’s return, noting his leadership, versatility, and experience within the Rams’ offensive system.

Havenstein, a longtime leader on the Rams’ offensive line, has shared the field with Shelton through numerous battles, including deep playoff runs. Their chemistry, according to team sources, is part of what drove interest in reuniting the duo.
Shelton’s return not only bolsters depth but also creates more competition at center and guard positions heading into the preseason. McVay hinted that nothing is set in stone, but Shelton will be in strong consideration for a starting role.
