Breaking News: Jamie Elliott Commits to Collingwood Football Club with New Two-Year Deal….

Star forward Jamie Elliott has officially agreed to terms with the Collingwood Football Club, signing a fresh two-year contract extension that will keep him in the black and white until the end of the 2027 AFL season.

The new deal is a major boost for the Magpies, who have long considered Elliott one of their most dynamic and clutch performers. Known for his elite marking ability, goal sense, and trademark courage, Elliott’s signature ensures Collingwood retains one of its most experienced and impactful players as it continues to push for premiership success.

Elliott, 32, has been a fan favorite at the club since making his debut in 2012. Despite several injury setbacks throughout his career, he has consistently delivered when it matters most — none more iconic than his match-winning goal after the siren against Essendon in 2022.

Speaking on the contract extension, Elliott expressed his excitement and gratitude:

“Collingwood has been my home for over a decade. The club, the fans, and my teammates mean everything to me. I’m thrilled to be staying on and doing whatever I can to help this group chase more success.”

Collingwood’s General Manager of Football, Graham Wright, also praised Elliott’s importance to the team’s culture and on-field structure.

“Jamie brings leadership, professionalism, and game-breaking ability. To have him recommit for another two years is fantastic for the group and our supporters.”

With 200+ games and more than 250 goals under his belt, Elliott remains a key pillar in Craig McRae’s forward line and a respected mentor to the next generation of Pies talent.

The two-year extension reaffirms Collingwood’s faith in Elliott’s ability to continue delivering elite performances — and possibly even lead the Magpies to another flag before his storied career draws to a close.
