Titans Officially Sign RB Ty Davis-Price, Titans Head Coach declared Rookie Micah Bernard

Nashville, TN – June 2, 2025

The Tennessee Titans have made a previously reported roster move official on Monday, announcing the signing of running back Ty Davis-Price.

The move had been widely expected after reports surfaced earlier in the day, but the team confirmed the transaction in a formal statement. Davis-Price now joins a Titans backfield that is looking to add depth and versatility ahead of training camp.

Originally a third-round pick by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2022 NFL Draft, Davis-Price has spent time developing as a physical, north-south runner. He brings size and toughness to the Titans’ ground game, potentially complementing the team’s existing rotation of backs.

In a corresponding move, the Titans waived undrafted rookie running back Micah Bernard, who had signed with the team last month following the conclusion of his college career at the University of Utah. Bernard was a versatile contributor for the Utes, known for his ability to catch out of the backfield and contribute on special teams, but was facing a steep climb to secure a roster spot in Tennessee’s crowded backfield.

Davis-Price, 24, played collegiately at LSU and had a breakout junior season before declaring for the NFL Draft. While he had limited opportunities during his stint with the 49ers, the Titans are hopeful that a change of scenery and system can help unlock his potential.
