BREAKING: South Carolina football has completed the signing of another star player
Jaiden Braker, the 2025 fast Edge, has committed to the Gamecocks. The 6-3 defender from Snellville, Georgia, is Carolina’s 13th addition to the top 25 class. The seventh player to commit since June 8th.
Braker adds much-needed speed and power to the Gamecocks defense. In the game’s most competitive conference, with talented teams on both sides of the ball, Beamer continues to add size and athleticism.
Braker demonstrated his speed by running 4.5 in the 40-yard sprint. He also demonstrated tremendous power, with a maximum bench press of 305 pounds and a maximum squat of 435 pounds. The approaching senior’s power and speed are great, but what’s even more intriguing is that he will be able to add to his frame through South Carolina’s Strength and Conditioning program.
The Gamecocks currently have 13 commits for their 2025 class, which is ranked among the top 20 in the country. Eight of the thirteen commits are on the defensive side of the ball. In what should be a better defensive year for the Gamecocks, Coach Beamer and his staff are contributing to future depth.
