NORMAN, OK — Raegan Beers, the rising star center for the Oklahoma Sooners women’s basketball team, has officially cemented her status as one of the top players in the nation after a remarkable season that brought in a wave of prestigious honors and accolades.
Beers, known for her dominant presence in the paint and elite two-way game, was named a WBCA All-America Honorable Mention for the second consecutive year, a testament to her consistency and impact on the court. Her stellar performance also earned her All-America honors from both the Associated Press (AP) and the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA)—making her one of the few players in the country to receive such widespread national recognition.
In addition to her national acclaim, Beers swept the Southeastern Conference with honors. She was named First-Team All-SEC and claimed the title of SEC Player of the Year, a rare and highly respected accolade that reflects her dominance across league play. She was also named SEC Player of the Week twice during the season, according to Sooners Sports.
