Collingwood forward Jamie Elliott has officially put pen to paper on a new two-year deal, committing to the club through the end of the 2027 AFL season — and he’s wasted no time sharing a strong and heartfelt message with the Magpie Army.
The 31-year-old fan favourite, known for his high-flying marks and clutch goals, said his decision to stay was driven by loyalty, unfinished business, and his deep love for the black and white.
“This club means everything to me,” Elliott said shortly after the signing.
“I’ve been through the highs and lows here, and I want to be part of building something special again. I feel like I’ve got plenty of good footy left — and I’m not done yet.”
The news comes as a huge win for Collingwood, who have battled injury setbacks and squad turnover in recent months. Elliott, one of the club’s most experienced and explosive players, will now remain a key figure in Craig McRae’s forward structure for seasons to come.
