BREAKING NEWS — ESPN REPORTS: Titans Land Veteran LB Kyzir White…

BREAKING: Titans Target Former Cardinals Captain Kyzir White

NASHVILLE, TN (via ESPN) – The Tennessee Titans have officially announced their intention to sign former Arizona Cardinals linebacker and two-time team captain Kyzir White, marking a strategic move to reinforce the heart of their defense ahead of training camp.

White, a 29-year-old defensive anchor, stood out as one of Arizona’s most consistent performers over the past two seasons. Despite his leadership and production, the Cardinals opted not to re-sign him, leaving him one of the top remaining free agents on the market.

Now, with Tennessee’s linebacker corps lacking proven depth, White emerges as the ideal veteran fit, especially after ESPN’s Aaron Schatz named him the “missing puzzle piece” for the Titans’ defensive unit.

“The Titans don’t have many trusted inside linebackers on the roster. Kyzir White is still out there and would be a big help. He’s a steady player who had 35 more tackles last season than any Cardinals defender except Budda Baker,” Schatz wrote.

If finalized, White’s arrival could be a key upgrade for the Titans’ run-stopping ability and leadership in the locker room — an element the team has been quietly seeking.
