Tennessee Titans Launch ‘Victory Over Stigma’ Mental Health Initiative in Underserved Nashville Neighborhoods

The Tennessee Titans have introduced the “Victory Over Stigma” initiative, a mental health support program under their ONE Community platform’s ‘Neighborhoods’ pillar. This initiative aims to provide accessible mental health care to residents in specific Nashville zip codes: 37218, 37208, 37209, 37216, and 37206.

In partnership with the Cheatcode Foundation, the program offers 12 free therapy sessions to 50 selected applicants within these communities. The therapy sessions are designed to be trauma-informed and brain-based, similar to those provided to Titans players and staff, addressing the unique challenges faced by underserved populations.

Additionally, the initiative includes training for healthcare and community workers, equipping them with trauma-informed care skills to better serve their communities.  Community engagement events featuring athletes, musicians, and influencers are also planned to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma.

This program reflects the Titans’ commitment to fostering healthy, safe, and thriving communities across Nashville, particularly focusing on areas most affected by mental health disparities.
