The Las Vegas Raiders have officially re-signed veteran running back and special teams standout Ameer Abdullah to a one-year deal, solidifying a key piece of their return game and backfield depth heading into the 2025 NFL season. Abdullah, 31, remains one of the most consistent and reliable special teams contributors in the league. While not featured as a primary rusher, Abdullah’s contributions as a third-down back, pass protector, and locker room leader have been critical, particularly for a team looking to integrate younger talent and maintain special teams excellence under new head coach Pete Carroll.
