Netflix is set to premiere a highly anticipated sports documentary chronicling the storied legacy of the University of Connecticut (UConn) Lady Huskies, one of the most dominant programs in women’s college basketball history. The documentary, currently titled “UConn: Reign of the Huskies”, will also shine a spotlight on one of the sport’s most iconic rivalries: UConn vs. Tennessee, led by the late, legendary coach Pat Summitt and her Tennessee Lady Volunteers.
The multi-part docuseries will trace the rise of the UConn program under head coach Geno Auriemma, who transformed the team from a regional contender into a national powerhouse. Featuring interviews with former players, coaches, and sports analysts, the series promises to offer an inside look at the intense work ethic, recruiting success, and culture of excellence that turned UConn into a dynasty.
